I’ve done everything to install Leopard on my iMac, but now I can’t get past the username and password screen at the end of installation. It won’t accept my password. I’ve tried six times so far, and every failure forces me to reinstall Tiger.
If you originally created your password way back in the Mac OS 10.2.x days, and your password is either blank or contains more than eight characters, you may not be able to login after installing Leopard.
