Front Row users jealous of the updated software on the Apple TV should try out the latest ATV4mac release. The application replaces Front Row on your machine and can even be used to rent videos from iTunes. The software will not allow you to rent HD movies.

Before you start downloading, this isn't your average software installation. The software will only run on an Intel machine running Tiger, OS X 10.4.8. Sorry, no Leopard release is available as of yet. You need to have the Xcode Developers Tools, and the installation will replace your current Front Row.app.

If you can swing all of that, enjoy.
