HBO and Apple announced the availability of original HBO programming on iTunes today. iTunes users can now download "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City," "Deadwood," "Rome," "The Wire," and Mac|Life favorite, "Flight of the Conchords."
The agreement marks the first instance of Apple offering tiered pricing for television shows within the iTunes Store. Prices for the new shows are $2.99 for "Deadwood," "The Sopranos," and "Rome," and $1.99 for the rest.
This news, and the recent inclusion of NBC shows in the UK iTunes Store, could be a sign that "Battlestar Galactica," "The Office" and other NBC/Universal shows could return to iTunes.
