We’re ridiculously stoked on Game Center, and for good reason. It adds a new layer of depth to the App Store and it helps us fulfill our unending desire for achievements, no matter how ridiculous and truly worthless they may seem. This week, we’ll be taking a look at some of the best Game Center games that have multiplayer, and enable you to rack up all of those achievement points you’ve been waiting to add to your bucket list.

Take Bomberman graphics, Bomberman game play, change absolutely nothing and what have you got? Well, Bomber Online, a game by Eurocenter. Even though it seems like a blatant rip off of the original, the game is rad, and you can play with up to five people that you select or invite straight from Game Center.

Bomber Online is dabomb.com. Get it?

In NanoSaur 2, you race opponents while riding on a Pterodactyl that shoots lasers and has a rocket booster. Any questions?

Roses are red, I go, “Roar, Roar, Roar.” I’ve got lasers and a jetpack. I’m a dinosaur!

GraalOnline, both plus (+) and its plus-less counterpart are retro-looking MMOs, stylized like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. They utilize Game Center, but neither requires it. Graal contains tons of stuff to do, but we’re certain that customizing your avatar is the most fun.

See? I put a shark hat on. Bomb.

Sure, Flight Control has been out since forever was a baby. But the new addition of a vast assortment of achievements, most of which are genuinely challenging and creative, puts this game back near the top of our “must own” list. Seriously, after your first time trying to keep a plane in the air for five minutes, you’ll love (and loathe) this game all over again.

All of these passengers’ lives are in your sweaty mitts.

Enigmo 2 is a strange Rube Goldberg-type game in which you must get a stream of water into a vase using miscellaneous pieces of junk. You can challenge friends and random opponents online, or play 50 challenges without them. However, we’re not too fond of the “buy additional levels” achievement in this one.

Better work fast or your water will break.

Mario Kart meets the Flinstones in this kart racer. It’s crazy that you can race real people without significant slowdown, but you can. It’s also got a pretty fun solo mode with plenty of achievements.

This is easily our favorite game on Game Center right now, and the fact that’s its free doesn’t hurt much either. Scramble Challenge is one of those “create words” games, in which you create games using a board filled with random letters. We’ve seen as many as 40 people all competing in the same game.

Editor’s high score: A measly 49 points. It might not be the best score, but we’re working on it.
