2. Sync your Entourage Calendar with iCal

Syncing your Entourage calendar to iCal is similar to syncing your contacts. Go to Entourage > Preferences, and in the left pane under General Preferences, select Sync Services. Select the checkbox next to “Synchronize events and tasks with iCal and .Mac.” If you have multiple Entourage calendars, select the one you want to sync in the pull-down menu.

Just as in Step 1, you are asked about which direction you want to sync. In this case, Sync Services is code for iCal (and .Mac). The first option replaces your iCal calendar with your Entourage calendar. The second option replaces your Entourage calendar with your iCal calendar. The third option merges the two. Click OK.

If you launch iCal, you’ll notice that there’s a new calendar called Entourage. Events need to be entered into this calendar in order for iCal and Entourage to sync. If you create another calendar in iCal, Entourage won’t import the events in that calendar.
