The title Run Roo Run is a bit misleading, due to the marsupial main character's languid pace, but I guess "Saunter Roo Saunter" didn't have quite the same ring to it. While Roo won't be competing in a 100 yard dash with Sonic the Hedgehog anytime soon, she manages to hold her own in this delightful precision platformer.
We’re always fascinated by the amazing diversity of iOS as a gaming platform. Something about the platform pushes developers to create new and completely original experiences, and this week’s selections highlight that theme pretty well, thanks to Infinity Blade II, World of Goo, and Run Roo Run -- a new release about a kangaroo on the loose. And while Hatchi's Tamagotchi-inspired approach isn't exactly original, it certainly is unexpected in 2012!
It’s a good week for iOS gaming software. Not only do we have the resurrected Xbox kinda-classic The Bard’s Tale to look forward to, but we also have word that the developer of Scribblenauts is working on a new game.
