Today's the release of the iPad 2 in Europe, and our friends across the pond at Tap! magazine are currently waiting in line at the Bath, England Apple Store for their very own second-generation tablet. They've graciously provided us with a couple of videos from the line to give us "Yankee blokes" (see what I did there?) a look at what iPad 2 launches are like overseas (hint: they're totally the same as ours).

He’ll always be “Sir Steve” to us! According to a report made public only this week, Apple CEO Steve Jobs was up for honorary knighthood by the British government a couple of years ago, only to be roundly rejected by none other than the Prime Minister himself.

We thought texting and walking was the problem, but no, the Brits have outdone us. According to the UK Automobile Association, the iPod is the reason for more than 17 accidents per day. They call it "iPod Oblivion."

O2 Informs Customers That iPhone 4 Will Be In Short Supply

O2, one of the iPhone carriers in the United Kingdom, announced today that the iPhone 4 will be in limited supply perhaps until August. A note on its website confirms that only existing O2 customers will be able to receive the iPhone 4 at launch, and existing customers will have priority until the end of July.
