The Angry Birds phenomenon is clearly unstoppable. While in the past the seminal iOS title was rivaled by other classics like Cut the Rope and Flight Control, the bird-flinging sensation has sling-shotted completely off the map. While other iPhone successes are measuring their success in the thousands and millions, Angry Birds is in the tens and hundreds of millions. Is there no end to the anger?
The second Spring seasonal update to Angry Birds Seasons has arrived today just one month after the previous update released for St. Patrick's Day. After last week's strange revelation that Rovio Mobile wants their company to become "Disney 2.0" we expected them to quiet down a little bit. However, that's certainly not the case this week as the same representative, Peter Vesterbacka, fired back at Nintendo president Satoru Iwata for saying that mobile games are "disposable."
