Back in March we reported on the announcement of an officially licensed iPhone game based on the legendary cult-classic Army of Darkness. Today that game arrived in the New Zealand App Store which means there's a very high liklihood the game will be arriving in App Stores around the world in the coming hours.

1-Bit Ninja may look like a simple retro throwback, and it is. But it's also much more than that. It's not just your average, run-of-the-mill Mario homage. It also has some really neat ideas. The announcement video shows off the ability to swipe the screen to turn the camera and make the 2D level into a 3D level.

We love RedLynx for a number of different reasons. It's not just for their iOS classic DrawRace, either. We also, admittedly adore their Xbox Live game Trials HD. Now we're getting word that the developer is hard at work for a brand new iOS title that will be the sequel to the aforementioned game, DrawRace.

If there's one area that the iOS gaming platform has been lacking in it has definitely been quality multiplayer experiences. While the PSP has games like Monster Hunter and SOCOM and Nintendo DS has Mario Kart, the iPhone hasn't had all that many quality multiplayer games worth getting excited about. So our interest was definitely piqued when we learned about the announcemen of Crescent Moon Games' 8-player shooter, Deadlock.
