Earlier this year, Boinx Software's iStopMotion for iPad received high praise in our review. We loved the app's simplicity and 1080p HD recording. Today, iStopMotion updates to version 1.5, and beyond a few appreciated changes, iPad mini owners can get in on the fun.
Sometimes, I wonder if Bruce Springsteen looks back at his song, 57 Channels, and has a laugh at the current state of entertainment. These days, 57 channels of television programming is nothing -- we have hundreds of cable options, not to mention iTunes, Netflix, and Amazon. The NextGuide app tries to make some sanity of the mess, and today's update should help make things even clearer.
The Weather Channel's iOS apps are a valuable edition to any device's line-up, but the paid version for iPhone was left out of a rather nice update earlier this year. Thankfully, Weather Channel Max users will finally see the UI upgrades afforded to free-version users this week.
