On the heels of yesterday's somewhat awkward Safari 5 release, there are now speculations that iTunes is the next piece of Apple software in line for an update. Developers say that Apple is very close to releasing iTunes 9.2 and that there is apparently a "Golden Master" copy existing somewhere that proves the software update is near close to being completed.
No doubt about it, being an iOS developer is sometimes tough. Take for instance the tale of two Sanford University grad students who created a popular, up-and-coming news reader which even caught the eye of Steve Jobs, only to have their app removed later that day.
Apple confirmed last month that its wildly popular “Get a Mac” television commercials had seen their final sunset, but there is a last-minute WWDC rumor out that at least one half of the commercial’s team might see one last appearance.
If there’s one fairly certain way to predict when new Apple products are coming, it’s a quick check at supplies of a given product. This week it’s the Mac mini which appears to be in short supply -- is a new model on the way?
