If there's one thing for certain in all the hoopla about the impending
Apple event on January 27th, it's, to quote Hollywood screenwriter
William Goldman, nobody knows nothing. Rumor, speculation, innuendo,
gleanings from patent applications, all of this rounds up to a big fat
zero until the magic day.
But here's one more rumor to keep your thirst almost-slaked.
Okay, so we know the when and where of Apple’s next media event: Jan. 27 at 10 am PST in San Francisco. But what will we see there, and more specifically, who might be sharing the stage with Apple CEO Steve Jobs?
Apple rumors seem to keep picking up steam as the January 27 media event in San Francisco draws ever closer. The latest one is perhaps the most obvious yet: That iPhone OS 4.0 is coming. The wrinkle? An alleged “high-profile developer” claims its release is “imminent.”
Yesterday, Valleywag offered up to $100,000 cash as part of a scavenger hunt to turn up clues to the existence of Apple’s fabled tablet. Today, Apple fired back with a cease & desist notice from their attorneys, which has fueled speculation that, yes Virginia, there really is an Apple tablet.
