With the rumor mill in high gear about a new iPhone announcement now less than a month away, it seems like odd timing for Apple to push out a new bumper color for the existing iPhone 4/4S, but at least this one is for a good cause.
The spotlight is back on the iPhone 4, with the first Verizon commercial hitting YouTube and new, slightly modified bumper cases that work with both carrier’s models making their way to an Apple Store near you.

Next week's free iPhone 4 cases are already under way. If you haven’t heard by now, late Wednesday Apple announced that they would be holding a press conference this Friday, July 16 at 10am PST (that’s 1pm for those on the East Coast). All we know is that the topic of discussion is the iPhone 4, which has lit up the Internet with speculation as to exactly what Cupertino may discuss. MacLife.com has decided to throw our own hat into the ring!
It seems like all the bad news on Apple’s iPhone 4 antenna reception issues is mostly media-driven -- Wall Street has a different view of the situation, and it certainly doesn’t call for anything as dire as a product recall.
Apple's iPhone Bumpers are doing surprisingly well. Shipping is actually delayed for several colors, including pink, orange, blue and white--which we can't help assuming is because of Apple's decision to omit the white iPhone 4 from its debut date. The colored Bumpers won't be shipping until July 16th, though the black Bumpers will be readily available come June 24th.
