Sitting in the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Tuesday for Nintendo's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) press conference, I had undoubtedly the same reaction to Nintendo's new console as many of you watching live streams and reading the ensuing tweets: What the hell? Hello, from the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Mac|Life fans! We'll be covering all the iOS gaming you can handle over the next few days. (Or, at least, until we run out of games to cover.) Today's Apple gaming report brought us to iOS publishing giant Electronic Arts and a few other smaller booths as well.
We sure hope you're all getting yourselves geared up for next week's unrestrained torrent of awesome. Tuesday morning is the event horizon of the nexus of the eye of a hurricane of tech amazingness. It is, of course, WWDC and E3 all mashed into one. And while Mac|Life will have you covered with all the Apple goodness you can handle from both events, the Electronic Software Association (who runs E3) is launching E3insider, aiming to help people keep track of all the other great gaming news and info coming out of E3.
While Steam on the Mac has only been out for a few weeks, many on the Mac|Life staff have fallen in love with the Valve game, Portal. Yesterday we got a glimpse at the Portal teaser trailer and today we have gameplay footage from E3.
