Most people probably aren't aware of Mobigames incredible iOS game, Edge, from the early days of the App Store. That's because the game was tied up in a major legal battle that kept it off the store for huge swaths of time (synopsis: the gaming industry's most infamous patent troll, Tim Langdell, sues the crap out of anything with the word "Edge" in it, claiming he owns the copyright because his company is named Edge Games.)
One of the best small-scale games currently available on the Mac App Store and Steam just got a ton of free new downloadable content.
The legendary puzzle-platformer Edge is now getting a huge 40 level update complete with other new content, absolutely free. If you haven't yet checked out Edge, now is a great time to do so. It doesn't look like much, but the game is an amazing achievement. We're currently working on our rave review of the iOS version right now.
