Got that winter semester student loan overage check burning a hole in
your pocket already? Or are you planning on filing taxes a little
earlier this January? Turns out Apple's interested in giving you
students and teachers a touch more help, but what's the real price?
I believe the children are our future. Let's teach them well and let them lead the way. And thanks to the nearly $1200 you've donated so far this month, 1,192 students are going to have a rad educational experience, so way to go, you guys.
But October isn't over yet -- we've got one more week, and I've got a fancy, custom-designed Brenthaven messenger bag on the line for one lucky donor. Follow the jump for more.
But wait, it gets even better. Follow the jump to hear about ANOTHER match opportunity, and a how you can help us get a slice of $200,000 (dude, five freakin' zeroes!) from HP. Yes, HP. I'm serious, follow the jump.
It's week 4, and we're knocking on the door of $500. So many of our
projects (So!Very! Many!) have been fully funded. I could add some
more, but it's so tempting to just focus on knocking out the ones we
have left. If you've run into a DonorsChoose.org project that you'd
like to see added to our Giving Page, just email me at susie at maclife
dot com and I'll put it on there.
It's Week 3, and we're at $182 donated so far. This week I'm ready to make a deal: If we can get that total up to $250, I'll kick in the next $50 myself. So how about it, ready to help some kids together? Follow the jump for more...
After week 1, we've raised $81 and impacted 176 students! Donate to the DonorsChoose Challenge this week, and you could win the iHome iP71, a rad set of computer speakers with a built-in iPod dock. Follow the jump to learn more...
Nearly one week into the month-long Blogger Challenge, here's an update: We've got tons of great prizes, you've got a better-than-great chance of winning one if you participate, and I've got the Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Do So Today.
More about the DonorsChoose.org Challenge, how you can participate, and how you can win awesome and valuable prizes for doing so. Any more questions? Just email Susie. The Challenge runs all through October, so open those wallets for the children!
