It’s widely known that Apple fans have an often cultish devotion to their favorite tech company, despite widely known chinks in their armor such as the lack of Adobe Flash playback or a smartphone who’s weakest point is actually keeping a phone call connected -- could religion play a part in that devotion?
This morning, we hung out with some fabulous Apple fans at the downtown
Apple Store in downtown San Francisco. The two lines of Apple faithful
extended around the block, and almost every eager patron had their hands
filled with free Krispy Kreme donuts and Starbucks coffee. We went down
the line to ask a few of the loyal patrons about the first thing
they'll do with their iPad. Some were incredibly eager to take home the
package and rip it apart, while others were more impressed with how it
will function as a developer tool. Take a look at the video for
all the highlights--there's even a special appearance from iJustine.
