I was a little surprised to see this guy waiting for me on my desk this morning. Anyway, here it is! The new Apple TV! It looks...exactly like its predecessor. Even the ports on the back are the same. But it's what on the inside that counts, right?

As promised, Adobe starting shipping its Creative Suite 5.5 updates on May 3, bringing big features to some of the applications mostly left untouched with last year’s CS5. After Effects CS5.5 is among them, with a performance boost in the latest edition of this popular cinematic visual effects and sophisticated motion graphics software.
Mac users may think of Final Cut Pro by default when they think about high-end video editing software, since Adobe abandoned the platform entirely for a number of years. But Premiere Pro (and its audio-editing companion, Audition) are back and better than ever thanks to the new Creative Suite 5.5 update.
The Macworld Expo 2011 show floor opened on Thursday, and we were there soakin' up the giddy, geeky vibes. Crowds of Mac lifers inched their way through the packed aisles of Moscone West in search of the perfect iPhone accessory, head-turning iPad case, or their next must-have piece of life-improving software. Between oohs and aahs over all the gadgets, we snapped some pics of the show floor to give you a feel for how it's going so far.

It's been a full 28 hours since we set foot inside of the Las Vegas Convention Center. There are plenty of gadgets that we've yet to lay eyes on, but for now here's a quick look at what we, and our brethern at Maximum PC, have seen so far at this year's show.
