Online editor and snowboarding fanatic Robbie Baldwin got a chance to check out the Recon Instruments Transcend goggles. These shades do more than protect your eyes from the sun and cold; they're the world's first alpine goggles with GPS data integrated into the head mounted display. The googles give real-time feedback to you with a micro LCD display on the inside that shows speed, coordinates, altitude, how much you've traveled and more. The Goggles use Google's Android platform and they're compatible with your Mac. There are two models currently available for $399 and $499. Check out the video after the cut for a quick look.
