Hopping onto a motorbike and barreling through the air while doing backflips is exciting stuff, but executing daredevil stunts while atop a tank or riding a runaway rocket? Joe Danger certainly doesn't shy away from peril in his latest action-packed obstacle course romp. While it doesn't add much new to the core stunt-centric formula laid out in predecessor Joe Danger Touch, Infinity's fresh settings, goofy characters, and challenging stages still make for a joyous ride.
Joe Danger was a pleasant surprise when it premiered on the PlayStation 3 back in 2010, mixing challenging vehicular platforming with the oh-so-addictive pursuit of the highest score. Since then, the cartoonish motorcycle stuntman has received a sequel and special edition on the Xbox 360. But the series' latest iteration and first on iOS, Joe Danger Touch, manages to ride wheel-to-wheel with its console predecessors, creating a new experience ideally suited for the platform.
After two cute-yet-addictive outings on consoles, Joe Danger is set to bring his stunt motorcycle gameplay to our iOS devices on Thursday. If you didn't happen to catch the prior games on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, that's OK. Joe Danger Touch looks like it offers most of what has made the series a hit, while adding in some new features for mobile.
