You know the big news of the week was the new iPad. It's almost like there was no oxygen left in the room for any other article under discussion, but we found a few to tease you with before we get to the goods. Don't worry, they're still great stories, but in case you missed the latest iPad day, we have quite the round up for you.
We know you want one. Right now you're trying to justify the purchase of the new iPad and the only thing standing in the way is your old iPad. But your friends at Mac|Life are here to help you make up your mind. Here are some ways to turn your old--and suddenly unfashionable--tablet into cold, hard cash that you can funnel right back to Apple. (You didn't think we'd try to talk you out of it, did you?)
It's not an iPad 3, but rumors are flying that another iPad might be on the horizon. A report just out today from Joshua Topolsky at This is My Next claims that a new member to the iPad family will be released this fall, with features designed for the professional market. Think of it as a cousin to the iPad 2, but with more money and a better house.
This alleged new iPad, possibly named iPad HD, will deliver a higher resolution screen (2048 x 1536), launch alongside an iPad version of Aperture or Final Cut, and will be aimed at the professionals and "prosumers" in the film industry, according to the report.
