Need to go on a pocket diet? The rubber Q Card iPhone 4/4S case from CM4 has a small, leather-like fabric pocket on the back, letting you carry your driver's license, credit card, and a couple of bills. Of course, when NFC technology makes its way to future phone models, you won't need to carry any cards. And a digital wallet has near-unlimited storage space, while the Q Card is too bulky if you carry more than two.
Fortune reported this morning that William Blair's Anil Doradla noted to company clients that the iPhone is no longer the bestseller at Verizon for the first time since February 2011, when it first started offering the smartphone.
Doradla observed that the lack of remodel and the 4G shortfall in the iPhone line, is the main reason users are choosing Motorola's Droid RAZR MAXX, the now leading smartphone at Verizon, over the iPhone 4S.
I love mechanical keyboards. I love the way my fingers spring off the keys, and I love the clickety-clack noise I make while I’m typing away--it’s the sound of productivity, as if I’m at The New York Times belting out a breaking story. If you believe the rumor mill, Apple executives will address developers on Monday morning and update almost their entire product line in the space of less than two hours. To avoid disappointment, just keep repeating: “It’s only a keynote… it’s only a keynote… it’s only a keynote…”
One thing’s for sure: Apple isn’t going to waste any time at Monday’s keynote talking about new carrier deals for the iPhone. As widely rumored earlier this week, Virgin Mobile has announced that it will begin selling the iconic handset on June 29.
The announcement Thursday that Cricket Wireless had landed a plum deal as Apple’s sole prepaid carrier in the United States is now leading to speculation that it could be the first of many, with Boost Mobile fingered as next in line.
It's only taken five years since the original iPhone went on sale in 2007, but at long last, Apple’s iconic handset finally has a prepaid version available here in the U.S., thanks to Cricket Wireless and a new $55 per month unlimited plan.
Actor John Malkovich may not be the next actor you’d expect to see in a pair of Apple commercials following in the footsteps of Samuel L. Jackson and Zooey Deschanel, but that’s exactly who you’ll find discussing “Life” and “Joke” with Siri next.
Ever wonder how far in advance Apple works on their products? According to a new report, the 2012 iPhone was in progress even before co-founder Steve Jobs’ death last year, which he reportedly worked closely on.
Still refuse to believe that the next iPhone will come with a larger screen? It may be time to cast aside your doubts, with a new report confirming that Apple will jump on current trends and increase the next iPhone screen to “at least four inches.”
