Research firm IHS is at it again, this time tearing down the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in order to see how much they cost Apple to make (at a minimum). Despite the appearance of that snazzy new camera, even with that powerful new A7 chip, it still costs Apple less to build the iPhone 5s than the iPhone 5 (to say nothing of the 5c).
Oh, Microsoft… you're back at it again with a new generation of Surface tablets, but we can only imagine that buyers will forget all about them when Apple unveils its next iPad, presumably at a media event next month. But kudos to the Windows maker for adopting the old saying "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again…"
