Well, we're entering the home stretch of the last few weeks before the release of the iPhone 6. Have the spate or articles and leaks and so on dampened enthusiasm or stoked it? Since 2008, Apple has unveiled an entirely new handset every two years, and all evidence indicates we're only a short time away from the eighth iteration of the iPhone — naturally, we're pretty stoked. We're sure Apple will have a few tricks up its sleeve on the big day, but there's a lot we already know about the new iPhone.
This is one heck of a leak week with batteries, screens, and all kinds of specs making their way into your hot little hands. By the time the iPhone 6 comes out, we'll know every single bit and piece of the device down to the tiniest screw. And there might be a little bit of other news out there, so let's have a look.
Apple executives have good reason to celebrate today after landing an Emmy for the company's 2013 holiday commercial, which seems to offer some vindication from recent criticisms of Cupertino's latest marketing efforts. The iPhone 6 also makes another appearance in today's Morning Report, along with a known Apple copycat striking again with its latest mobile OS.
