The earlier release of the latest iPhone/iPad software development kit
has been updated to a Beta 2 release. As we get closer to the official
sell date on the iPad, we're getting hopeful and excited for what kind
of wonderful newness our iPhone's will be picking up.
It was packed with tons of stuff, but you can't please everyone.
Probably the number one let-down when the iPad was at long last revealed
was the fact that there was no camera, despite numerous rumors that
there would be.
Whether Apple pulled the camera idea at the last minute or whether they
plan on adding it at some point or whether there's the potential for
some kind of peripheral that brings video camera to the iPad, one thing
is certain. Camera support is built in to the OS.
If your head is still fuzzy from an iPad media event hangover, you might have missed a nugget of info that’s now part of the iPhone SDK: Apple is now allowing apps to make VoIP calls over 3G data connections!
Apple rumors seem to keep picking up steam as the January 27 media event in San Francisco draws ever closer. The latest one is perhaps the most obvious yet: That iPhone OS 4.0 is coming. The wrinkle? An alleged “high-profile developer” claims its release is “imminent.”
