I have an iPhone, and I sync it to my Mac at home. If I plug it into
my Mac at work, will it try to sync to that Mac? I don’t keep much on
that machine, just work stuff, and I don’t want all my personal
contacts, mail, calendars, and music on my iPhone replaced with data
from my work computer.
AT&T should just rename themselves FT&T, or FailT&T. Even
though they presumably knew exactly how many iPhones had been
pre-ordered, and could estimate the demand on opening weekend, many users reported activation issues
with their new iPhone 3Gs and 3G S’s. Over the weekend, Apple had to
make amends, so they sent out emails to those with activation problems,
offering them a $30 iTunes gift certificate and an official statement that the delays could be up to 48 hours.
The staff are happy to hear that iTunes 8.2 may have parental controls for the iTunes App Store. Finally, apps won't be rejected because of swears and parents can feel better knowing that their kid isn't playing 50 Cent's upcoming Death, Sex and Drugs RPG for the iPhone. (Not a real game, yet).
