The official launch date of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C (September 20) may still technically be but a rumor, but that isn't stopping a few intrepid souls from camping out in front of Apple's retail store on New York's Fifth Avenue. As reported by MacRumors, two representatives from Cincinnati's SellYourMac showed up this morning expecting to be the first to start the long campout, but were surprised to find two other enthusiasts already ahead of them.
It’s not much of a surprise to Manhattanites (or the folks who have been enjoying their leaked photos for weeks), but Apple has officially announced the opening of its latest retail store location in Grand Central Station, New York City’s fifth such venue. “Just in time for the holidays,” the new location will open its doors at 10am EST this Friday, December 9.
