Remember Twitter Music? The free app went from rumor to reality to apparent washout within weeks, and now little birds close to the microblogging service claim Twitter may be on the verge of killing it completely.
Paul Westerberg from The Replacements once quoted his bassist Tommy Stinson, "I hate music. Sometimes I don't. I hate music, it's got too many notes." In this day and age, we've got so many content delivery systems, we're suffering from information overload. Between iTunes, Spotify, Rdio and even just perusing YouTube, discovering anything new out there can be a grating endeavor. Sure, all of those services connect you to independent artists, but how can you find them without being drowned out by all of the major labels? Do you have a time machine?
