After search giant Google hurled a barrage of not-so-subtle spears in Apple’s direction at the Google I/O developer conference, all eyes are now on the World Wide Developer Conference that Cupertino will be launching June 7 with a keynote from CEO Steve Jobs.
Apple finally took the wraps off its fabled tablet today, confirmed to be called the iPad as rumored. The device is intended to bridge the gap between the iPhone or iPod touch and a full-fledged laptop, but as “magical & revolutionary” as Steve Jobs thinks it may be, we can’t help but wonder what the company could have unveiled today that would have been more impressive.
MacLife.com would like to take a moment to throw out our own list of possibilities as to what Apple might introduce this Wednesday -- aside from that rumored tablet. Some are more realistic than others, naturally, but that’s half the fun!
