BlackBerry may be down, but judging from their rabid, die-hard fan base, they may not be completely out after taking T-Mobile's CEO to task over how the carrier started recommending the iPhone to customers.
Well, that was quick. Earlier this week we reported that Apple might be rolling out its trade-in program sometime next month, but as CNBC reports, it's actually effective in Apple retails stores today. Much as we've seen with Best Buy's popular trade-in program over the summer, iPhone users can trade in their old iPhones for a gift card, which will then be used toward the purchase of a new Apple smartphone with a two-year contract.
While Apple had previously set up a Twitter account for iTunes quite awhile ago, today the App Store finally got some tweet lovin' as Apple set up an official Twitter account. Shown above, Apple is aiming to promote new apps, as well as tossing out some exclusive app offers!
