Ready to feel really old? The video game that started it all -- Pong -- turns 40 this year, and to celebrate, Atari has kicked off the Pong Indie Developer Challenge. Submit your own original take on the classic game and you’ll not only see it published by Atari, you’ll get a cool $100,000 as well.
Retro gaming enthusiasts have a whole lot to be pleased about today. Atari just announced that they are releasing an enormous hub app for dozens of the best retro classics of all time. If your Atari has fallen into disrepair or you simply can't be bothered to lug around that giant piece of wood and plastic anymore you might want to consider dropping a measly $14.99 on this compilation. Or you can selectively go through and buy packs of 4 games for 99 cents.
