Looking for something to do while you're waiting for your Apple devices to receive the rumored iOS 7.1 update "any day now"? We've got a pretty juicy Tuesday recap to snack on while you wait, including Apple buddying up with BlackBerry for CarPlay (sort of), RadioShack store closures and oh so much more. Rather than tell you about it, let's just dive right in, shall we...?
The 2013 holiday season hasn't kicked off yet, but it's already a great time to buy an iPhone 5c as retailers attempt to undercut each other with deals that allow buyers to nab a phone for as low as $45 up front.
We've come a long way from the days when AT&T was the only carrier for the iPhone. Today Virgin's Mobile's no-contract iPhone 5 goes live, and in line with the news we heard some time back, you'll be able to find it at RadioShack for as low as $550. But that's not quite as impressive as the news that this offer makes no-contract iPhones available for the first time.
Whatever your opinion of TweetDeck, it's hard not to sympathize with those about to lose a loved one on May 7, when Twitter effectively slays the mobile versions of its TweetDeck apps. We had a similar situation when Echofon made the decision to axe its Mac client last year, prompting us to switch entirely to Tweetbot for a harmoniously synced iOS/OS X solution. What will you be using to replace TweetDeck mobile?
