It’s widely known that Apple CEO Steve Jobs often responds to e-mail sent to him by outsiders, usually with short and sweet replies. A U.K. customer recently got one of those replies back, with a little dig at Google to boot.

In yet another sign of how long Apple’s shadow truly reaches over the mobile industry, CEO Steve Jobs was bestowed with “Mobile Personality of the Year” honors at an event this week where the company wasn’t even in attendance.
