A new report from suggests that the screen may not be the only thing that's big about the iPhone 6 — it may be getting a substantially bigger storage module as well. According to the alleged leaked schematics posted on the site, at least one of the two rumored new iPhones will boast 128GB of NAND flash storage.
Portability seems to be ever more important to creative pros, with powerful laptops such as the MacBook Pro with Retina display often shedding as much weight as possible. Being thin and light often means shedding a hard drive in favor of solid-state storage. If you’re working with massive files on the move, you often can’t do without space, and sacrificing performance isn’t an option. The My Passport Pro might be the answer.
Thanks to our ever-growing libraries of music, movies, photos, games, productivity apps, and everything else, the internal memory of our iOS devices doesn’t go quite as far as it used to. That’s where LaCie's new Fuel drive comes in. With the ability to hold more than 500 full-length films, 160,000 songs, or 190,000 photos, Fuel’s full terabyte of storage gives our iOS devices all the extra space you need, and its light, rugged enclosure won't add too much extra weight to your rig. Unfortunately, it comes with a few setup and security issues you’ll have to work around.

Last week, we talked about the Apple-included "Ditto" command that lets you duplicate files on your Mac much more efficiently than with the standard cp command that Unix provides. This same tool that can easily duplicate files can also create file archives (zip files) that compress the data for easy transport. Let's see how we can create a Ditto archive using a few options with the command.
We’re big fans of Evernote, the “second brain” service where you can throw nearly any scrap of paper into the cloud until it’s needed again. For certain types of personal data, however, this approach often means that you’ll spend more time searching than accessing information. Mustbin is a free app geared toward life’s most precious data – credit cards, driver’s licenses, Social Security cards, and more. However, the developers have also empowered the app as a kind of digital jack-of-all-trades that can be used for sorting photos or even password-protected accounts into digital “bins.”
The miniStack may have started life as a third-party companion for the Mac mini, but with each new iteration, it becomes a nice complement to any Mac -- especially now that an optical drive is part of the mix.
The HEX Drake Origin is a good-looking pack. Made from blended wool, the herringbone pattern is hip and doesn’t scream tech-geek. Following the trend of using natural fabrics in bags, the Drake Origin even has leather zipper pulls. The pack feels solid and well-constructed.
Having a photo shoot on the other side of town in the pouring rain with no way to get there but on a bicycle (or parkour) is going to require a special kind of camera bag, and Chrome is betting you’ll want their new Niko Camera Pack for your pricey gear on such a day.
