You’ve gotta love the Chinese knock-off market: After one company’s attempt to threaten Apple with stealing their tablet idea for the iPad failed, they turned right around and ripped off Cupertino instead.
If there's one thing for certain in all the hoopla about the impending
Apple event on January 27th, it's, to quote Hollywood screenwriter
William Goldman, nobody knows nothing. Rumor, speculation, innuendo,
gleanings from patent applications, all of this rounds up to a big fat
zero until the magic day.
But here's one more rumor to keep your thirst almost-slaked.
Even if Apple does go with any of the various lame name choices
currently being bandied about (iTab and iSlate and iGuide all pale
beside iPad), everyone is expecting something amazing. And if the
former president of Google China can be believed, it's everything the
hype has been saying it will be.
