ScreenFlow is hands-down the best application for recording a "screencast," or a video of your Mac's desktop. Pretty much all you have to do is hit Record and go for it. And now with version 4, developer Telestream has filled ScreenFlow with new features that make it even better.
While many consider Windows Media a relic from the Stone Age of computing, there's still plenty of content out there and few ways to play it on the Mac. That's why it's good to hear that the official Windows Media player on the Mac has now been updated with support for OS X Mountain Lion.
Earlier today, Telestream released the latest version of ScreenFlow, the screencasting software designed for Mac. This version, 3.0, delivers OS X Lion compatibility, support for new Lion features, and new content creation and workflow tools.
According to Barbara DeHart, vice president of marketing at Telestream, "ScreenFlow 3.0 allows software developers, trainers, educators, and bloggers to quickly and efficiently capture, edit and create amazing video tutorials, promos, and training videos that enhance the learning experience and online product demonstrations."
