In today's Apple Daily, a Vietnamese site ensures that we get a look at the thin new MacBook with Retina display more than a week ahead of the device's launch. In other news, Apple reportedly wants channel providers to shoulder the costs and responsibilities of hosting streams for its upcoming online TV service.
It was release week and that means we've got a round up of stories that are all about two things: new iPhones and new iOS. So let's not waste any more time. If you want a quick rundown of the who, what, where, and when, this is the tasty place to be.
This week's stories are about resurrection of old names, how one company pivoted in the face of the iPhone's awesome-sauce, the unveiling of some new amazingness we've all been waiting for plus the newest games of the week and a few apps that might just keep you sane these last few weeks of the year. That and more as always, just step right inside.
The review units of the new Mac Pro started arriving at various media outlets today, and MacFormat (our sister site over in the UK), has already put together their own unboxing video of the unit they received. With over 15 minutes of footage, it provides a good way to see what you'll be getting sometime in February if you order the unit today.
Barely making it under the promised November deadline, Apple has started shipping the slim new iMacs first shown off at last month's iPad mini event -- but the 27-inch model may not arrive until Santa Claus does.
It’s new iPad week, and that means the rush is on to grab the first unboxing video, followed soon after by the first actual delivery and so on. You can check that unboxing video off your list -- a new 16GB iPad with 4G LTE has already surfaced in Vietnam, but there’s not a whole lot to see.
It's here! It's finally here! Yes, the Verizon iPhone 4 arrived in our hands this morning in a lovely white FedEx box. We've yet to test it to see if it's got more bars in more places (actually, that's AT&T's motto, whoops), because we're too busy manhandling and enjoying the feel of a brand new iPhone 4. Except that, honestly, it's the exact same as the AT&T iPhone 4, except that its insides have that sexy dual-band CDMA/GSM chip. It's also got those sweet racing stripes that make it a bad candidate for your old iPhone 4 case. Anyway, enjoy the snap shots.
Even if you've ordered one already, you can still sneak a peek at these shots of iLounge's unboxing of the new fourth-generation iPod shuffle. The box includes a short USB cord, the standard Apple sticker (we like to put them on our coffee tumblers), a pair of Apple's signature white earbuds, and the iPod shuffle itself!
